Shakira - El Dorado World Tour

Wow! What a year it has been! I got the opportunity to see more of the world this year. Some places I had been before, but there were many new locations as well. For those that don’t know, I was the Programming Engineer for Shakira’s world tour, hence my absence in Nashville. Throughout the course of things, many new friends were made and adventures had. From touchy airport security, to questionable runners, there are more stories than can fit in one post.

Cologne

This is my first Lifestyle editorial ... kidding. No talk of scents or why not to every wear Axe. My travels recently took me to Cologne, Germany. I am currently at the start of a year-long world tour, with Shakira, as her Programming Engineer. Our days are busy, long, and we don't have tons of time off, but when we do, I like to go explore. I woke up a couple days ago, looked across the river from our hotel, and was floored by what I saw. The Cologne Cathedral is a sight that I will never forget.

Spring is a beautiful time of year. With all my travels and various adventures, occasionally I miss a change in seasons somewhere. This year, spring was different for me. Instead of skipping from winter into late spring, like I have for the past several years, I actually got to enjoy the cusp of spring in the Smoky Mountains with my wife and kids.
